Mini-me has been a failure

After really trying to find a use for the HP 2133 mini-note, I have come to the conclusion that it's just not very usefull. Which is a shame as it's the perfect size for carrying with me whereever I go.

my HP2133 (Mini-me) has fallen to the dark side

Yes folks,

I must report the terrible news that Mini-me is now a slave to M$. The final nail was not being able to video post via seesmic--you can video comment on my site with it (below the normal comment input stuff. )

Site updates

So , there have been some pretty major changes to the site since the last update. TinyMCE is now in place for easier content creation and styling. Status update now keeps the toad master aware of module updates.

Updated todo list

Make a todo list page--depending on whether or not versions will be tracked and how they can be displayed.

Completed some major gallery modifications

I've completed some really cool updates to the gallery which include integration with digibug printing service!!!

Now all I need to do is create/find/modify a gallery theme that will work with the rest of the site.

That being said, I need to still workout the theme for the rest of the site!

Added some more modules including panel, backup, and captcha so now anonymous readers can leave comments.

Next steps

I've installed quite a few modules and now need to figure out how to employ them.

1) Build the gallery and figure out how to incorporate it into the site
2) Figure out the auto path so nodes will be more section oriented (ie styles will persist)
3) Figure out the whole views thing so I can have actual section fronts.
4) develop a real site design that represents my artistic philosophies.

Current modules install:
CCK, views, pathauto, token, contemplate, gallery, sections,

Current themes: the main site is using a slightly modified deserttree theme.
