2008 the year for the ultra portable that doesn't cost a fortune
A month or so ago I got to put my mits on the Asus EEEPc--loved it! BIG con though--no hard drive. Well as this segment as blossumed, the big names are introducing their own and the winner right now looks like the HP 2133 Mini-note.Â
Not to be left out, Dell is also building one.
I've been waiting to see the Everex Coudbook Max which could also make a nice field pc.
So it looks like my waiting will pay off. I'm still thinking about getting the little EEE and use it for it's intended purpose--wireless web browsing and email. This means the 2g will do nicely and at $299, it won't blow the budget.
