Colorspace?
Reading one of my favourite photography sites kenrockwell.com (Ken Rockwell is one dude that has a lot of good info!) I came across an article about color space.
Could I have just uncovered why my images do not translate to the web the way I see them in their natural state (ie RAW)? What is my camera set to? I don't know!!! I will in a few hours, but have I been making my world more difficult because of this little--nay--huge issue?!! I had given up on shooting raw for this very reason--it was driving me bananas! Looks great in photoshop but save to jpg an--good lord! Where did the color go?!! Jack the saturation up 150% and barely have it look like it should--wtf!?!
Trust me when I say, I will be switching to sRGB if it is not already set. The last thing I need is fighting against a system I don't really understand in the first place! And maybe now, FINALLY, I'll be shooting RAW for good!
Man! This photography thing is sooooo complicated... hehe I lOVE it!!! (Sorry. the geek in me is ecstatic at all the knowledge still to be gained)
Another issue I may had added is the auto focus correlation. Seem to remember playing with somthing like that a while back. Now my shots aren't as sharp! What the heck have I done. No worries! Ken comes to the rescue again. In reading one of his reviews on lenses (a round up of pro normal zooms) He talked about having to fiddle with this. Aha! I said to myself. I did that and had no clue what I was doing--some day I'll learn from this and stop it!
